Don't know if I would ever pay $250 for a keyboard... probably not.

Back when I first started into computers in the late 1980's a
cheap keyboard was $150 or so, and an IBM was $400..

Of course, a 5.25" floppy drive was $400 and a 10 *MEG* hard drive
was somewhere up around $1700 too..

Be sure to make allowances that you have to probably triple those
numbers to put them into today's dollars..
